But how do you proceed rightly?
As mentioned before and as you have probably heard before, you should look for products with low competition.
But how can you be sure that products on Amazon have low competition?
In the following section, we'll explain how you can find excellent products with the help of Helium 10 Cerebro, and be sure that they won't be in any big competition.
To do this, first go to your watchlist and select the first product you want to check.
Let's take this tarpaulin as an example.
The numbers of reviews look good. The product has few reviews and generates more than 5000€ turnover per month.

My recommendation is to search only for products that rank on keywords that don't have more than 1000 competing products.
It becomes particularly interesting when a keyword has a very high search volume and very few competing products.
I have often seen that specific keywords are searched over 1000 times a month and have less than 100 competing products.
My recommendation to you is, therefore, to look precisely for such products.
Especially at the beginning you should pay attention to the competition and only sell products that have minimal competition.
Invest your time in your product research instead of spending your time on administrative tasks.
The Helium 10 Cerebro IQ Score shows you the potential of a specific keyword.
For example, if a keyword has only 50 search queries per month and 20,000 competing products, the IQ score is likely to be very low.
But if a product has 3000 search queries and only about 100 competing products, it will shoot the IQ score through the ceiling.
The higher the IQ score, the better. The IQ score is an excellent way to evaluate the potential of a keyword.
